Member Spotlight – Bob & Cheryl

The fall of 2018 marked 10 years since we first crossed paths with Dr. Nicole and began a routine of regular chiropractic adjustments, healthy eating and exercise. As we begin our next decade with Restore Chiropractic Center we pause to reflect on the impact Dr. Nicole and Dr. Bethany have had on our lives.

Restore Chiropractic Patient- Bob & CherylTen years ago at 57 and 58, I would say we were the typical uneducated every day people, buying into going to the doctor and getting a prescription to make us “well” and buying into eating whatever the FDA told us was safe to eat. We were doing OK on the exercise part, although like most of us, struggled with excess weight. Through the wealth of information available at Restore, we’ve learned the dangers of processed foods, have learned how to read food labels, eliminated wheat from our diets, now eat only real food and feel better than we have in years.

Rather than call the doctor for any aches and ailments we tell Dr. Nicole or Dr. Bethany how we’re feeling, what is ailing us and get an adjustment so our bodies can better use their   innate intelligence to work magic. We still do see medical doctors; I had a malignant melanoma 20 years ago and have an annual physical. Cheryl’s thyroid was removed nearly 30 years ago, when questioning the doctor about the wisdom of doing so was rare. Cheryl takes a natural   thyroid medication as a result of having no thyroid. I take nothing and my doctor knows me well enough to no longer suggest flu shots, old people vaccinations, or even prescriptions.

Now 67 and 68, we have been given a gift of being in great physical shape and have better   overall health than ever before. We owe it to the knowledge we have gained through Restore Chiropractic. We believe they truly care about us and know they truly care about each of their practice member’s own individual journey.

We believe there are no accidents in life. Our paths crossed with Dr Nicole 10 years ago and later Dr. Bethany for a reason. While we don’t fully understand the why, we do know they are instrumental in our overall health and quality of life. We are hopeful we have provided something in return. We feel blessed that our paths have crossed.
